The pitch and resonance of the cling sound are different for each product, and it is impossible to determine whether it is a good sound or a bad sound. Lighter is designed as a lighting tool, and quality and sound have nothing to do with it. Please be advised that since Dupont lighters go through a manual process, scratches may appear on metalwork products and lacquer products, and this is not a reason for exchange or refund. Exchanges/refunds are not possible if the product fails due to careless handling or after ignition (due to the nature of the product). - We recommend using only genuine S.T.DUPONT refills. (Gas and stones can be purchased at department stores) - Even within the warranty period, after-sales service due to the customer's negligence will be charged for, and if the warranty is not attached, after-sales service costs will be incurred. - The connecting pin attached to the inside of the lighter lid may become unscrewed due to force or vibration when opening and closing the lid. This is a natural phenomenon, not a product defect. - When opening the lid, open it from the side parallel to the body surface so that force is evenly distributed to the connecting pins. If you open the lid using a corner, the connecting pin may break due to uneven wear or deformation of the lid. Since S.T.DUPONT Lighter is a plated product, the plating may peel off or discolor. In particular, silver material has the property of discoloring black when exposed to oxygen and friction, so cleaning and maintenance are required. Lacquered products may break if subjected to strong impact. A/S is not possible due to surface damage to the lighter (lacquer cracking, plating discoloration, scratches). *Examples of factors that prevent the Lighter from igniting* - No gas / Print wheel (flint) is worn or inserted upside down / Gas inlet is broken - If you use a gas other than S.T.DUPONT’s genuine refill - After-sales service costs may be incurred due to internal failures such as nozzle clogging. |

■ Customer Service Notice
- Every DUPONT product has a warranty and a customer can have a free-customer service in case of the product confirmed as target of a free-customer service.
- The damage of leather part of a wallet or a belt caused by general use cannot be a target of Exchange, Refund or Return regardless of a warranty period; a special care as using it is needed. It can be repaired by a customer expense if necessary.
- Customer Service for the products caused by a customer may be charged to a customer irrespective of a warranty period.
- It usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks when repairs in Korea, and 3 months in France.
■ Free-Customer Service period: 6 months in leather products and 1 year in accessories/pens/lighters/belt buckles.
■ Goods out of a free customer service or goods impossible in service
- It is impossible for a customer service in case of dented, scratched or damaged product of following goods, a lighter, a belt, accessary lacquer, a metal material one.
- A customer service for lighter cling sound is not possible.
- No customer service for worn-out part(s) or changed leather(s) of a belt, a wallet or a bag.
