G-Shock (Gravitational Shock) is a brand of watches manufactured by Casio, which is designed to resist mechanical shocks and vibrations. They are primarily designed for sports, military and outdoor-oriented activities. G-SHOCK watches have a distinct style, and nearly all have some kind of stopwatch feature, countdown time, and light and water resistance.

Since 1983, G-Shock has been setting the standards in toughness. Shock-resistant construction stands up to dropping and other rough treatment plus 200m water resistance.

 The MT-G series pursues innovative structural beauty by fusing METAL MATERIAL and resin MATERIAL, the origin of G-SHOCK, according to its unique design philosophy. In addition to the evolved “dual core guard structure,” downsizing and slimming have also been realized. Additionally, the one-push replacement band structure allows you to easily replace the band. After coating the stainless steel bezel with black IP, it is refinished with hairline processing, exposing only the convex surface of the stainless steel. The band uses a black urethane band, and has a monotone body of SILVER and black with a design that stands out with the RED on the face. The glass is made of highly transparent sapphire crystal, and the dial is finished with a high texture through delicate shaping and deposition processing using the fine processing technology of the Casio Yamagata factory. It is also equipped with a variety of practical functions, such as acquiring accurate time information by linking with the dedicated application “CASIO WATCHES”.

The absolute water resistance of a watch may not be permanently guaranteed. It may be affected by ageing of the gaskets, accidental impact on the crown or crystal and other external factors. Be sure to use the watch with the crown pressed in normal position. If your watch has a screw-type crown, be sure to tighten the crown completely to prevent moisture, water or dust penetrating in to the case.
