G-Shock (Gravitational Shock) is a brand of watches manufactured by Casio, which is designed to resist mechanical shocks and vibrations. They are primarily designed for sports, military and outdoor-oriented activities. G-SHOCK watches have a distinct style, and nearly all have some kind of stopwatch feature, countdown time, and light and water resistance.

Since 1983, G-Shock has been setting the standards in toughness. Shock-resistant construction stands up to dropping and other rough treatment plus 200m water resistance.

 Since its launch in 1983, it is a model that uses recycled materials with the theme of sustainability in the G-SHOCK Toughness watch that continuously evolves and requires unbreaking strength. By applying the material of  「FOOD TEXTILE」 which is the recycling project that uses food ingredients scheduled to be disposed used as dye on the band, the Cross Band is colored in khaki gray which is the color extracted from Echinacea Chrysanthemum. On the band, Band 「TRUECOTTON」which is the way that farms and mills can be identified, have been used, which allows for the reducing of the burden on the environment while protecting the working environment and craftsmanship of everyone involved in production. In addition, Bezel's main resin parts use biomass plastic, a renewable organic resource.

This is a sustainable watch that is considerate of the environment, with things that should have been discarded being reborn as new watches.

    * When a watch is designed and manufactured to withstand up to 5 bar, such as accidental contact with splashes of water or rain, but it is not designed for wearing while swimming or diving. The absolute water resistance of a watch may not be permanently guaranteed. It may be affected by ageing of the gaskets, accidental impact on the crown or crystal and other external factors. Be sure to use the watch with the crown pressed in normal position. If your watch has a screw-type crown, be sure to tighten the crown completely to prevent moisture, water or dust penetrating in to the case.
