1. Take caution when using the product as it could get discolored, contaminated or cause skin irritation if it gets contacted by cosmetics, sweat, and moist.
If steel or metal causes allergic reaction on the skin, immediately stop from using it and consult with medical specialist.
2. If you bought mechanical movement (automatic) product, please keep in mind that it could cause error due to the characteristic of the product and the movement could get affected by the magnetic field produced by TV, radio, magnets, and etc. Please keep it away from magnetic fields.
3. Though the product is water resistant, depending on the instant water pressure, the inner side of the watch could get humid. Take extra caution when wearing it near water.
4. Depending on the storage condition, gold and rose gold plated products could get discolored over time. (Plated products have copper components causing the product to oxidize.)
5. Do not drop the watch as the parts are weak to shocks.
6. Do not get it in contact with products that have strong magnetic fields as the watch parts are weak to magnetic fields or electricity.
7. Inquire whether adjusting the band is possible or not before purchasing the item.
(Band Products bought from the Duty-Free stores cannot be adjusted from other SEIKO stores. It is only possible at the A/S Center.)
 

 ※A/S※
1. Warranty card is enclosed on the back of the warranty statement book.
SEIKO guarantees for 12 months of warranty only for the SEIKO watch written on the warranty card provided by the official SEIKO shops. SEIKO provides warranty for material or manufactural defects of the watches.
Breakage or deformation caused by the customer’s negligence (humidity inside the watch, fall out of dial, band scratch, glass breakage, damage on leather land, stem breakage, link breakage) during the warranty period is not covered by free A/S.
2. Please keep in mind that the free A/S won’t be provided and the warranty statement will get canceled for products that were repaired by non-official A/S center rather than the official A/S center chosen by the Head Quarter.
※Water Proof※
1. 3BAR or 5BAR refers to water resistant. It means it only resists few drops of water. You may not wear it in shower or put it in a dishwasher.
2. Do not press the push button or the stem if the watch is under water.
※Battery Watch※
1. The life span of the battery watch is 12~24 months, not from the date of purchase, but from the date of manufacture.
2. The battery starts working as soon as it gets attached on the watch. Therefore, you might experience immediate stoppage of the watch right after purchasing the product. This is not due to product defect.
※Automatic Watch※
1. Automatic watches charge when there is enough movement on the watch for at least 8 hours per day.
2. In average, -15~+25 seconds of errors are made per day. The margin of error increases when the watch is placed near mobile phone, TV, audio, speaker, and other electronic products that produce magnetic fields.
3. The time error differs between each model and each individual’s activity level.
4. We recommend periodical check-up on the watch once in every 2 years to keep the watch in its optimal state.
※Leather Strap※
To keep the leather strap in its original form for a long time, we advise you to follow the instructions below.
1. Keep it away from humidity and water to prevent discoloring and deforming of the product.
2. Keep it away from direct sunlight as it could as discoloring or bleaching of the product.
3. Leather could get contaminated by oil. Keep it away from oils and cosmetic products.
※Additional Condition※
1. Keep it away from places with too high or too low temperature as it could leave damage on the watch.
2. If you leave battery-ran watch out of power for more than 2 months, the product could get seriously damaged by the mercury.
3. If you use soap or other chemical substances (perfume, Toner) directly on the watch, it could negatively affect the product.
4. Keep it away from the magnetic fields (mobile phone, magnet lock on bags) which could damage the product.
5. Screw type stem is attached on watches that are 100m or more waterproof.
If you want to adjust the time or date, take the screw out from the watch. When you are done adjusting, press the stem in level 1 position and lock it thoroughly to make it properly waterproof
